Terms of service

  • Greenhill Timbers will not be held responsible for the condition and level of the Sub Floor, whether it be concrete, chipboard or timber.
  • Quotation is subject to a physical site inspection ( Tight or poor site access, items and/or building materials left in the contractors way that need to be physically moved, may incur additional charges )
  • Timber flooring is a natural product of nature, therefore colour variation, grain variation and minor surface checking with in it's own species is not deemed as defective and may not be returned or swapped.
  • Timber is also hygyroscopic, which means it will absorb and release moisture in the air causing timber floors to sometimes contract or expand.Therefore good quality window coverings and diligent use of heating & cooling within the home is required. IE: Cover hot windows with good quality block out furnishings in summer and keep heating and cooling at constant temperatures of approximately 21 Degrees.
  • Timber is a natural product that is hygroscopic in nature. This means that the internal environment can affect the behaviour of the timber. During hot weather, using window coverings to protect the flooring from sunlight and allowing for constant air flow throughout the area is advised. Placing a bowl of water in the room will also help. Evaporative cooling may increase the moisture levels to higher than recommended.
  • Full payment is required before pick up or delivery of materials. 
  • No claims will be recognised on goods after 7 days from delivery or pick up. 
  • No returns will be accepted on all timber products
  • A 10% handling fee will apply to goods returned 
  • A 10% handling fee will apply to Cancellations within 24 hours of delivery/pick up date
  • Once payment has been received, it is deemed GHT TC's accepted
  • We do not take responsibilities for damages on goods stored in our yard after purchase.
